Feeling Good changed my life as much if not more than any book I’ve read (I’ve had it for years and have yet to finish it)

So I’m thinking a Mix-Cocoon is the way to go for an accurate mixing environment for Fysics I. Basic idea is me seated and a pair of nearfield monitors on speaker stands, and then 6”-thick / 6.5’-tall modular panels / gobos around me and the speakers (including a cloud / “roof” panel). Soffit bass traps in the corners of the room.

Once the speaker stands are built and I’ve determined the optimal listening position and speaker placement, I’ll re-evaluate if a cocoon is still feasible.

Has anyone else done this and liked it? Or hated it? It will of course be all-black so it will be awesome in there. Obviously it will get sweaty and humid yet perhaps that’s best, so I am forced to take frequent listening breaks?
